When reporting a problem, it helps to include:
- Which app, and its version (usually visible in the app's About or Settings screen)
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Steps to reproduce the issue, if you can
- macOS or iOS version
Bring-your-own-key apps
Clara Sky, Riff, SmarterChild, and Codex use your own API key (Anthropic and/or Gemini) rather than a subscription. If something isn't working, check first that a valid key is entered in Settings and that the key has available credit — most errors trace back to one of those two things.
